Loaded Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

For the Eggs

  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ tsp salt (for boiling water)

For the Filling

  • ½ cup canned tuna (or shredded chicken)
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped celery
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onion
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Seasoning & Garnish

  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill

Directions:

  1. Boil the eggs
    • Place eggs in a pot and cover with water.
    • Bring to a boil, then cook for 9–10 minutes.
  2. Cool and peel
    • Transfer eggs to ice water, let cool completely, and peel.
  3. Cut the eggs
    • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  4. Make the filling
    • In a bowl, mix the egg yolks, tuna (or chicken), mayonnaise, mustard, celery, green onion, salt, and pepper.
    • Mash until creamy.
  5. Assemble the deviled eggs
    • Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish and serve
    • Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, and chopped parsley or dill.
    • Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
