Ingredients:
- Chocolate Cake
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method of Preparation :
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan, 3 inches tall.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
- Add butter and mix until smooth. Stir in milk and vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with hot water, mixing until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, spread a generous layer of chocolate filling, then cover with remaining batter.
- Bake again until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely, then frost the cake and decorate as desired.

- Interesting Tips
- For extra moisture, replace milk with buttermilk.
- The filling can also be made with chocolate ganache for a richer flavor.
