Homemade Egg Noodles – Just 5 Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg and egg yolks until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the cold water and salt, then gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 5–7 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough out to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  5. Cut into strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  6. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles for 7–9 minutes, or until tender.
  7. Serve immediately or use in your favorite recipe, especially chicken soup.

Storage:

  • Refrigerator: Store uncooked noodles for 2–3 days.
  • Freezer: Store uncooked noodles for 1–2 months.

Serving Suggestions:

Perfect in chicken noodle soup, with butter and herbs, or paired with a creamy sauce.
