Ingredients:
- 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (12 oz) can fruit pie filling (cherry, apple, peach, or your favorite)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix flour, sugar, and milk together until smooth.
- Pour batter over melted butter don’t stir.
- Spoon pie filling evenly on top. The batter will rise around the fruit as it bakes.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and set.
Delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
