Ground Beef and Peppers Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced (use mixed colors for visual appeal)
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Toppings:

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sliced avocado
  • Chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables soften.
  3. Season: Stir in paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  4. Serve: Remove from heat. Top with shredded cheese, avocado slices, or chopped cilantro if desired. Serve hot with rice, tortillas, or crusty bread.
