German Chocolate Dump Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1 can German chocolate frosting (12 oz)
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz), undrained
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup butter, sliced

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the crushed pineapple evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. Spoon dollops of German chocolate frosting over the pineapple layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the frosting and pineapple.
  6. Evenly distribute the chopped pecans and shredded coconut over the cake mix.
  7. Arrange the butter slices evenly across the top.
  8. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
  9. Let the cake cool for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
