GARLIC BUTTER LOBSTER AND SCALLOPS

Ingredients :

  • 2 lobster tails, halved lengthwise
  • 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions : 

  1. Prep Seafood:
    Pat scallops dry. Halve lobster tails lengthwise; season all with salt/pepper.

  2. Sear Lobster:
    Heat 2 tbsp butter + 3 tbsp olive oil in skillet over med-high.
    Place lobster flesh-side down; sear 3-4 mins. Flip; cook 2-3 mins until opaque. Remove.

  3. Sear Scallops:
    Add scallops; sear 2 mins/side until golden crust forms. Remove.

  4. Make Sauce:
    Melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic 1 min. Add lemon juice and parsley.

  5. Finish:
    Return seafood to skillet; baste with sauce 1 min. Garnish with lemon zest!
