- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk

For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:
- 3-4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
Salt and pepper to taste

- Boil chopped potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender.
Drain potatoes and return to pot. - Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and mash with a potato masher or fork.
