Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, depending on desired sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows (plus extra for topping)
- Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate (for drizzling)
- Crushed graham crackers (for rimming the glass)
- Chocolate shavings or chips (optional, for garnish)
Instructions :
- Make the Hot Cocoa Base
In a saucepan, heat the whole milk and heavy cream over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the mixture is hot but not boiling. - Add the Chocolate
Whisk in the semi-sweet chocolate chips (or cocoa powder) and sugar. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
Add the vanilla extract and cinnamon, then mix well. - Prepare the Glasses
Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs.
Rim each mug with chocolate syrup, then dip the rim into the graham cracker crumbs to coat. - Assemble the S’mores Cocoa
Pour the hot cocoa into the prepared mugs.
Top with mini marshmallows and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.
Drizzle with chocolate syrup and add extra mini marshmallows if desired. - Garnish and Serve
If desired, lightly toast the marshmallows using a kitchen torch for a campfire flavor.
Garnish with chocolate shavings or additional graham cracker crumbs.
