Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- ½ tsp each: salt, pepper, oregano, thyme
- 1 tsp each: paprika, onion powder, garlic powder
Instructions:
- Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to thin them out. Season lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Whisk in flour and cook for a couple minutes, stirring constantly.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth and whisk until smooth. Add salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Once the gravy begins to bubble, add the chicken. Coat well, cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and cook 12–15 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F.
- Shred chicken and serve over mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
