Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard loaf pan or line with parchment paper. - Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly combined. - Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter. - Combine
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix. - Bake
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. - Cool
Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. - Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar with a dash of cinnamon. Add milk a little at a time until a smooth drizzle consistency forms. - Glaze and Serve
Drizzle glaze over the cooled loaf. Allow it to set before slicing and serving.
