Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 12 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Frozen hash browns (enough to cover a 9×13 dish)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Spread a layer of hash browns evenly across the bottom.
- Add the cooked sausage on top, then sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything.
- Top with the remaining cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden and bubbly.
Serving Tips:
- Serve warm with fresh fruit or toast.
- Add salsa or hot sauce for a little kick
