Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Directions:
1. Prepare the ingredients
Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and dice the potatoes. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
2. Layer in the crockpot
Place the potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot. Add the steak, onion, and garlic on top.
3. Season
Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika evenly over the mixture.
4. Add liquid
Pour in the beef broth and add the butter on top.
5. Cook
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the steak is cooked through.
6. Add cheese and creaminess
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream. Cover again and let cook for another 10 to 15 minutes until melted and creamy.
7. Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
