Instructions:
- Prepare the crockpot
Place the stew meat in the bottom of the slow cooker and spread it out evenly. - Add the seasonings
Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix, onion soup mix, and ranch seasoning packet evenly over the meat. - Add the butter
Place the stick of butter on top of the seasoned meat. - Cook
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the beef becomes tender and the flavors combine into a rich gravy. - Serve
Spoon the beef tips and gravy over warm mashed potatoes.
