Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Honey Butter Garlic Sauce
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
Instructions :
- In one bowl, whisk together the egg and water.
- In a second bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip it in the egg, then press it into the panko to fully coat.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken strips 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
- For the sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan. Add honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Toss the crispy chicken strips in the warm honey butter garlic sauce and serve immediately.
