Creamy Strawberry Carlota (Easy No-Bake Dessert)

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages Maria cookies
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 packet strawberry gelatin (optional, for a firmer texture)

Instructions:

1. Blend the Cream
Place the strawberries, sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Add Gelatin (Optional)
If you prefer a firmer dessert, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1/2 cup hot water. Add it to the strawberry mixture and blend briefly to combine.

3. Layer the Dessert
In a glass or baking dish, place a layer of Maria cookies on the bottom. Spread a layer of the strawberry cream mixture on top.

4. Repeat the Layers
Continue layering cookies and cream until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream on top.

5. Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until set.

6. Decorate and Serve
Before serving, garnish with fresh strawberry slices.

Homemade Tip

For the best texture and flavor, let the dessert rest overnight in the refrigerator. This allows the cookies to soften perfectly and helps the dessert set nicely.
