Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- salt and black pepper to taste
- optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions :
- melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- add the cream cheese and stir until it melts and combines smoothly with the butter. keep stirring until the mixture is smooth.
- pour in the heavy whipping cream gradually, stirring continuously. cook for 3 to 4 minutes to let it heat through and begin to thicken.
- stir in the parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until completely melted and the sauce is creamy. if the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more cream or milk to thin it out.
- season with salt and black pepper to taste. remove from heat.
- serve hot over cooked pasta, grilled chicken, or steamed vegetables. garnish with chopped parsley if you like.
