Creamy Cranberry Pecan Christmas Tree Appetizers

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups crushed buttery crackers (like Ritz)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar (optional)
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
  • 2–3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Fresh rosemary (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Mix crushed crackers and melted butter. Press into a parchment-lined 8×8 pan and chill.
  2. Beat cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spread over the crust. Chill 20–30 minutes.
  3. Combine pecans, cranberries, and parsley. Sprinkle over the cream cheese layer and lightly press. Optional: drizzle honey or maple syrup.
  4. Cut into triangle “trees” and insert pretzel sticks as trunks.
  5. Arrange on a platter and garnish with rosemary. Serve chilled.
