Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta – A Comforting Meal

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (optional, for deeper flavor)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Season with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Add the beef broth and tomato paste (if using). Simmer for 3–4 minutes to combine flavors.
  6. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently and let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook for another 1–2 minutes until creamy and smooth.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Remove from heat.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese on top. Pair with a simple green salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.

Storage:

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or milk.
