Cottage Cheese Flatbread

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh herbs or grated cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  2. Add milk and egg; knead gently for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide dough into 4 portions, roll into balls, and flatten into ½-inch discs.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook flatbreads for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and puffy.
  6. Brush with olive oil and add herbs or cheese if desired.
