Ingredients:
- ½ cup water
- 12 oz fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ cup orange juice
- Small pinch of salt
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 strip orange peel
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, orange juice, and water over medium heat; stir until sugar begins to dissolve.
- Add cranberries, salt, cinnamon stick, and orange peel. Stir gently.
- Bring to a simmer and cook about 10 minutes, until most cranberries burst.
- Cool for 30 minutes, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
