Ingredients:
- Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar (or 1 tsp cinnamon + 1 tbsp sugar)
- Chimichangas
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ½ cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Optional Toppings
- Caramel sauce
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped cream
- Fresh berries
Instructions:
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar; mix until creamy.
- Place 2–3 tablespoons of filling in the center of each tortilla. Fold in sides and roll tightly like a burrito.
- Skillet: Brush with butter and cook seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
OR Air Fryer: Brush with butter and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway. - While warm, roll chimichangas in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm with caramel sauce, powdered sugar, whipped cream, or berries.
