Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8-count each)
- 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thin
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- Icing from cinnamon roll cans (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Open the cans of cinnamon rolls, separate them, and flatten each one slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the apples are soft and caramelized.
- Layer the lasagna:
- Place half of the flattened cinnamon rolls on the bottom of the dish.
- Spread half of the apple mixture on top.
- Repeat with the remaining rolls and apples.
- Sprinkle nuts on top if using.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drizzle with the icing from the cinnamon roll cans before serving.

- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Add caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
