Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup red & green holiday sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and holiday sprinkles.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake 9–11 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Cool 2 minutes on the sheet, then move to a wire rack to cool fully.
