Ingredients:
- 2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate
- 2 ½ cups high-quality white chocolate
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
- ½ cup crushed candy canes
Instructions:
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each.
- Stir in the peppermint extract.
- Pour melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or 9-inch square pan. Chill 10 minutes in the freezer or 15–20 minutes in the fridge.
- Melt white chocolate the same way (low heat, 30-second intervals—white chocolate burns easily).
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the chilled chocolate layer and spread evenly.
- Immediately sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
- Chill until fully set, then cut into squares or triangles.
