Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys

Ingredients

  • 12 large strawberries
  • 1 cup Ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers
  • 48 pieces candy corn
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 12 orange M&Ms or 6 Reese’s Pieces (cut in half)
  • 12 red sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line your workspace with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the strawberries and dry them thoroughly to help the chocolate stick.
  3. Melt the chocolate wafers in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  4. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, covering about three-quarters of the berry.
  5. While the chocolate is still wet, decorate each strawberry with candy corn, candy eyes, M&Ms (or Reese’s), and a red sprinkle to form the “turkey” features.
  6. Set the decorated strawberries on the parchment paper and allow them to cool and harden.
  7. Transfer to the refrigerator until ready to serve or store.
