Ingredients:
- 12 oz Chocolate Almond Bark (6 blocks)
- 6 oz White Almond Bark (3 blocks)
- 8 large Strawberries
- 16 Pretzel Sticks (thinnest you can find)
- 8 Mini Marshmallows, cut in half
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Strawberries
Rinse and pat the strawberries completely dry. Set them aside to ensure no moisture remains — this helps the chocolate stick properly.
2. Prepare the Pretzel Legs
Break off about ¼ of the top of each pretzel stick. Use the longer piece (about ¾ length) for the legs, so they look proportionate.
Cut each mini marshmallow in half lengthwise. The inside of the marshmallow halves will be sticky — this is the side you’ll use to attach them.
3. Assemble the Legs
Stick the sticky side of the marshmallow half to the broken end of the pretzel stick. Make sure the smooth, rounded side faces outward to look like a “turkey leg.”
4. Melt the Chocolate Almond Bark
Place the chocolate almond bark in a deep, microwave-safe bowl.
Heat for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue heating in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
5. Attach the Legs
Dip the marshmallow end of each pretzel leg lightly into the melted chocolate.
Attach one leg to the right side of the strawberry and hold for about 30 seconds until it adheres. Repeat on the left side.
Place the strawberry on a parchment- or wax-lined baking sheet. Continue until all strawberries have legs attached.
6. Coat the Strawberries
Once all the legs are attached and set, insert a fork into the top of each strawberry and dip it into the melted chocolate almond bark, covering up to the stem.
Gently shake off excess chocolate and return the strawberries to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
7. Add the White Chocolate Feet
Melt the white almond bark in the same way as before.
Remove the strawberries from the fridge.
Holding each strawberry by the stem, dip just the bottoms of the pretzel “legs” into the white chocolate to create the turkey’s feet.
Return to the baking sheet and refrigerate again until fully set.
