Ingredients:
For the Cupcakes
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips
For the Topping
• ½ cup white chocolate, melted
• ½ cup dark chocolate, melted
• Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients in two parts, alternating with the milk, mixing just until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before adding the toppings.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate and dark chocolate over the cooled cupcakes.
- Finish with chocolate shavings for garnish.
