Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients:

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Chill dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  9. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set and centers are soft.
  11. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage

  • Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Refrigerator: Up to 5 days.
  • Freezer: Freeze baked cookies for up to 2 months.
