Chicken Bites (Tempura Style)

Ingredients:

  • 3¼ cups self-rising flour
  • 1 dash cumin
  • 1 dash paprika
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, cumin, paprika, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the warm water, mixing until a thick batter forms that easily coats a spoon.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dip the chicken pieces into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Carefully place the battered chicken into the hot oil, a few pieces at a time.
  6. Fry until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
