Ingredients:
Cheesecake Layer
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Brownie Layer
- 1 cup butter
- 6 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
Topping
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper. - Prepare the cheesecake layer
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined. Set aside. - Make the brownie batter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and unsweetened chocolate together. Stir until smooth and remove from heat.
Add sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the flour until just combined. - Assemble the layers
Spread about two-thirds of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
Pour the cheesecake mixture evenly over the brownie layer.
Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer and gently swirl with a knife.
Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the top and lightly swirl if desired. - Bake
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted near the middle comes out with moist crumbs. - Cool and serve
Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares for clean cuts.

- Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
- Freeze for up to 2 months
