Cherry Almond Poppyseed Quick Bread

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Krusteaz Almond Poppyseed Supreme Muffin Mix (including poppyseed packet)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8½ × 4½-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the muffin mix, water, egg, and enclosed poppy seeds until just moistened.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Gently swirl cherry pie filling through the batter using a knife.
  4. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Cool for 5 minutes, remove from pan, and cool completely before slicing.
