Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 2 tablespoons ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, and milk. Mix until evenly blended.
- Take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then roll it into a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
- Arrange the meatloaf bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with ketchup.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Serving Tip:
Serve warm with mashed potatoes, pasta, or as a party appetizer with dipping sauce.
