Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup apple pie filling, finely chopped
  • 8 soft caramel candies, unwrapped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of chopped apple pie filling in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Top with one caramel candy.
  5. Carefully pull the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching tightly to seal.
  6. Place each bomb seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving, as the caramel filling will be hot.

Optional Finishing Touch

Brush warm bombs with melted butter and roll in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar for extra flavor.

  • Chop the apple filling finely to prevent leaks.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat briefly before serving.
