Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 head cabbage, chopped into bite-size pieces
- 32 oz beef broth
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 medium white onion, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, quartered
- 1 (14 oz) package smoked sausage, sliced
- Water, as needed
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a large pot or Dutch oven. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Cook for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the carrots and potatoes are fork-tender. Add water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Serve hot.
