Ingredients:
Salad
- 5 cups broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups cauliflower, chopped (or all broccoli/more cauliflower)
- 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
Dressing
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3–4 tbsp sour cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp sugar
Instructions:
1. Prep the Vegetables
Chop the broccoli and cauliflower into small bite-sized pieces.
2. Cook the Bacon
Cook 1 pound of bacon until crisp, then chop or crumble into pieces.
3. Combine the Salad
In a large bowl, mix together the broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and chopped red onion.
4. Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, pepper, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
5. Dress the Salad
Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
6. Serve
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend, then serve chilled.
