Ingredients:
- 12 breakfast sausage links (pork, chicken, or turkey — your call)
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- ¼ cup milk (for fluffier eggs, trust me)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry if you’re fancy)
- Maple syrup or honey (for dipping, obviously)
Instructions:
- Cook the sausages – Brown them in a skillet until fully cooked. Drain the grease and set aside.
- Scramble time – In a bowl, whisk eggs + milk + a pinch of salt. Melt butter in the pan, cook the eggs until soft and fluffy. Don’t overcook, unless you enjoy dry sadness.
- Wrap it up – Unroll your crescent dough, cut into triangles. Spoon a bit of egg onto each, place a sausage on top, and roll it up like a cozy breakfast burrito.
- Bake – 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve hot – Dip in warm maple syrup or drizzle over the top for the full “I’m having dessert for breakfast” experience.
