Best Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafers
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 box (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant pudding mix for about 2 minutes until thick.
  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping.

Assembly

  1. In a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl, layer vanilla wafers on the bottom.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas.
  3. Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
  4. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with pudding on top.

Chilling & Serving

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for best flavor and texture.
  • Garnish with crushed vanilla wafers or banana slices before serving, if desired.

Storage Tips

  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best appearance, add fresh banana slices just before serving.
