Banana Peach Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1½ cups frozen or fresh sliced peaches
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • ½ cup orange juice or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for depth)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Directions

  1. Prep the fruit: Peel the bananas and slice them. If you’re using fresh peaches, slice and remove the pit. For a frostier smoothie, use frozen bananas or peaches.
  2. Blend: In a blender, combine bananas, peaches, Greek yogurt, and your choice of liquid (orange juice adds a citrusy zing, milk makes it creamier). Add honey and vanilla if desired.
  3. Adjust thickness: If you like a thick smoothie, toss in a few ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and tweak: Taste your smoothie and adjust the sweetness or liquid if needed.
  5. Serve: Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately. Garnish with a peach slice or banana wheel if you’re feeling fancy!
