Ingredients:
For the Brownies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Baileys Frosting (optional but recommended)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
To Make the Frosting:
8. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
9. Slowly add powdered sugar, then mix in Baileys and vanilla until smooth.
10. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Slice and serve.
