Baileys Irish Cream Brownies

Ingredients:

For the Brownies

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Baileys Frosting (optional but recommended)

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
  5. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely.

To Make the Frosting:
8. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
9. Slowly add powdered sugar, then mix in Baileys and vanilla until smooth.
10. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Slice and serve.
