- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ΒΌ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream (adjust to taste)
- 1 box chocolate cake or brownies, baked and cooled
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheesecake Cream
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
- Slowly add the Baileys Irish Cream and continue to mix until smooth.
- Whip the Cream
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture to create a light, fluffy texture.
- Assemble the Trifle
- Cut the chocolate cake or brownies into bite-sized pieces.
- In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer the cake pieces and cheesecake cream.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheesecake cream on top.
- Garnish
- Sprinkle chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder over the top for decoration.
- Chill
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve
- Scoop or spoon into serving dishes and enjoy!
