Bacon Cheeseburger Rice Skillet

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups instant rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: diced pickles or green onions for topping

Instructions :

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and rice. Mix well.
  4. Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Stir in crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with diced pickles or green onions if desired.
