Ingredients :
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ medium onion, diced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 cups instant rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: diced pickles or green onions for topping
Instructions :
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and rice. Mix well.
- Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with diced pickles or green onions if desired.
