Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup melted butter
Cheesecake Filling:
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
Apple Layer:
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work great)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Crisp Topping:
- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cold butter, cubed
Optional Topping:
Caramel sauce, for drizzling
Instructions :
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
2. Make the crust:
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for *8 minutes*, then set aside to cool slightly.
3.Prepare the cheesecake layer:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until creamy. Pour over crust.
4. Make the apple layer:
Toss diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spoon evenly over the cheesecake layer.
5. Add the crisp topping:
Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and cold butter with a fork or your hands until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apples.
6. Bake:
Bake for *40–45 minutes, or until center is just set. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
7. Serve:
Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving. Slice and enjoy!
Tips & Variations
Add chopped pecans or walnuts to the crisp topping for extra crunch.
Use apple pie filling if you’re short on time.
