Apple Cinnamon Bread Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 ½ cups fresh apples, peeled and diced
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and lightly dust with flour.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and walnuts, if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Serving Tips

  • Sprinkle the top with cinnamon sugar before baking for a lightly crisp crust.
  • Drizzle with a simple powdered sugar glaze for a sweeter finish.
  • Serve warm with a little butter for extra richness.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to 5 days. This bread also freezes well for up to 2 months.
