Ingredients (for the apple filling):
- 2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best)
 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
 - 3 tbsp brown sugar
 - 1 tbsp granulated sugar
 - ½ tsp cinnamon
 - Pinch of salt
 - Soft caramels or caramel sauce (for the center)
 - Biscuit or crescent dough (for wrapping)
 - Oil for frying or butter for baking
 
Instructions:
- Prepare the Apple Filling:
Peel and dice the apples. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sugars, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in apples and cook until soft and caramelized (about 5–6 minutes). Let cool slightly. - Assemble the Bombs:
Flatten each piece of dough, place a spoonful of apple filling in the center, and add a caramel piece. Seal tightly into a ball. - Cook:
- For frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry until golden brown.
 - For baking: Brush with butter and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes.
 
 - Serve:
Drizzle with warm caramel sauce and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
