Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
    Cooking spray

For the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
Pat chicken tenders dry. In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another, beat the eggs. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  2. Coat:
Dip chicken into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing gently to coat.
  3. Air Fry:
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray basket with oil, arrange tenders in a single layer, and air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  4. Make the Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in honey and soy sauce; simmer 1–2 minutes.
  5. Toss and Serve:
Coat the cooked tenders in the honey butter garlic sauce and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For extra crunch, mix a little crushed cornflakes with the panko.
  • Serve with rice, fries, or a side salad.
  • Sauce can be doubled for dipping.
