Decadent Oreo Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 10 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
  4. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  5. Heat a lightly greased nonstick pan or griddle over medium heat.
  6. Pour about ¼ cup of batter per pancake and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until bubbles form on top and the edges look set.
  7. Flip and cook for another minute or two until done.

Serving Suggestions

Serve warm with:

  • Whipped cream and extra crushed Oreos
  • Chocolate syrup or ganache drizzle
  • A scoop of vanilla ice cream for a dessert-style breakfast

Tip:
For extra fluffiness, let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes before cooking.
