- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
- 4 slices fresh tomato
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 4 slices toasted bread or sandwich buns
Instructions
- Cook the bacon
Place the bacon in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until it begins to brown, then brush both sides with BBQ sauce. Continue cooking until crispy and caramelized. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. - Prepare the bread
Lightly toast the bread or buns until golden brown. - Assemble the sandwich
Spread ranch dressing on each slice of bread. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, BBQ bacon, and cheddar cheese if using. Top with the remaining slice of bread. - Serve
Slice in half and serve warm.
