Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ΒΌ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream (adjust to taste)
  • 1 box chocolate cake or brownies, baked and cooled
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheesecake Cream
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
    • Slowly add the Baileys Irish Cream and continue to mix until smooth.
  2. Whip the Cream
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture to create a light, fluffy texture.
  3. Assemble the Trifle
    • Cut the chocolate cake or brownies into bite-sized pieces.
    • In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer the cake pieces and cheesecake cream.
    • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheesecake cream on top.
  4. Garnish
    • Sprinkle chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder over the top for decoration.
  5. Chill
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve
    • Scoop or spoon into serving dishes and enjoy!
