Ingredients:
- 8 string cheese sticks, cut into thirds
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count) - 24 slices of pepperoni
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) - Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
Directions:
1. Preheat Oven:
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Flatten Biscuits:
Take each biscuit and flatten it slightly with your hands or a rolling pin.
3. Stuff with Cheese:
Place one piece of string cheese in the center of each biscuit. Fold and seal the dough around the cheese tightly to form a ball.
4. Top with Goodness:
Place each dough ball seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Top with 1–2 slices of pepperoni, a sprinkle of oregano, garlic powder, and Parmesan if using.
5. Bake:
Bake for 13–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
6. Serve:
Let cool for a few minutes and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
